Die meisten Skelettmuskeln geh\u00f6ren zur Arbeitsmuskulatur, die Teil des aktiven Bewegungssystems ist. Ein Teil der Arbeitsmuskulatur wird f\u00fcr die K\u00f6rperhaltung (Haltungsmuskulatur, besonders untere Extremit\u00e4t) eingesetzt, der andere Teil f\u00fcr die Bewegung (Bewegungsmuskulatur).
